A. Halim Kulaksız celebrates the 65th anniversary of his artistic career with his series that brings together the fascinating atmosphere of Istanbul with thousands of frames. Moza-İst brings together the artist's years-long photography adventure and Istanbul on the same plane with an aesthetic emphasis.
Between 6,000 and 7,000 photographs of Istanbul are settled in each mosaic to create panoramic images. Kulaksız uses a special method in his works that viewers can explore in depth, turning every small piece into an element of the story. The artist gives his works a unique appeal with his digital brush strokes.
"Moza-İst" offers viewers the opportunity to experience the history, culture and texture of Istanbul from a different perspective. Through the lens of A. Halim Kulaksız, the world of mosaics brings together the complex texture of the city and invites viewers to a fascinating art journey.
